We use Merial PureVax 4. It is formulated in Germany and is the very best shot available. Ask your vet to use this vaccine for your final shot. It is a Modified Live Vaccine with a safe fixative using gentamycin . This means the area where your baby is injected should not have a reaction or cause cancer down the road.

Spay or neuter your new baby at 6 months of age. This ensures hormonal development, especially in males who need extra time for the urethra . This may help , in conjunction with proper nutrition, to eliminate unwanted behavior and crystals. That said, females can mark also so do not judge boys , please.

Please do not be tempted to buy an alternative! If you cannot afford this brand please feed or cut Farmina with Fromm or Stella and Chewy’s kibble! Feed Free choice. We feed all 3 but they favor Farmina. Your stools will be tiny and not smell. This is because the food goes directly to the muscle and tissue needed to develop. Add the lysine and probiotic we rec daily please! You want optimal immune function and no diarrhea!
Put your food, water and litterbox in a bathroom or small space until your new baby has smelled all pets or met the family to reduce stress and prevent upper respiratory infections. If your kitten or cat sneezes, has colored discharge from its nose or eyes take your baby in to your veterinarian. This can be normal due to stress from the transition to a new home . Do not wait if it is excessive. Ask the vet for doxycycline and eye drops to eradicate quickly !

We use Pit Boss Competition Blend ( 20 or 40 lb ) Wood Pellets from Walmart , Lowe’s or Home Depot. Or Horse and Small Animal Pellets from Tractor Supply. Simply mix with Baking soda and remove urine and feces daily with a grocery bag. No smell or tracking ! Although we use cheap xlarge plastic boxes here, our customers also love these too
